Polymer Self-Adhesive (Non-Asphalt-Based) Waterproof Membrane

The manufacturer specially designs the polymer self-adhesive (non-asphalt-based) waterproofing membrane for the pre-paved parts of building waterproofing. The membrane consists of polymer sheets, polymer self-adhesive films, and anti-adhesive layers. This non-asphalt-based membrane integrates seamlessly with concrete structures. Under pressure, the polymer self-adhesive film bonds with the cement slurry in the concrete, creating an interpenetrating bond and strong intermolecular force. Once the concrete solidifies, the membrane seals tightly, preventing water infiltration.

Construction Operation Points

1. Laying of Flat Coils: Position the coil on the base surface following the elastic line, with the high-density polyethylene film side facing down. Ensure the overlap between coils is 70mm along the long side. Peel off the isolation film at the overlap to ensure clean, dry, and dust-free surfaces. Roll the overlapping edges firmly to ensure strong adhesion. Repeat until the entire coil is laid.

2. Short Side Overlap: Overlap the short side of the roll by 80mm, using special adhesive or tape to compact and bond the seams. Ensure the short-side overlaps of adjacent rolls are staggered by at least 600mm to avoid concentrated raised bands.

3. Facade Membrane Laying: Align the membrane on the base layer of the retaining structure wall, with the smooth polyethylene membrane surface facing the wall. The weather-resistant granular layer should face the structural concrete wall.
